When the founders of Castle Rock Industrial Bank opened their doors in 1974 it was to fulfill their vision of a financial institution where local management and ownership could use their first-hand knowledge of the community in order to provide personalized and customized banking services. They wanted a friendly bank that placed value on relationships, not just transactions. Where customers could sit down to discuss their needs with local decision-makers and know that they would be valued as individuals not just account numbers.

Over the years since 1974, we have grown with the community. On July 20, 1992, we changed our name to Castle Rock Bank. We’ve grown in asset size, deposit base, and number of locations; our products and services have grown to keep pace with technological advances and the needs in our community. Our underlying philosophy, however, does not change. Our unique strength is in our local ownership. Our board of directors is comprised entirely of local residents, and all of the bank’s decisions are still made on a local level. We understand the needs of members of our community, because we are members of the community. We know what local businesses need, because we are a local business.

We “walk-the-talk” in our commitment to supporting community through our support to local organizations such as the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce, the Castle Rock Economic Development Council, the Castle Rock Downtown Development Authority, the Douglas Elbert Task Force, and the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo, local area 4-H clubs, and school athletic and academic programs.
